Three East High School girls joined 30 others at Trees for Tomorrow April 24th-27th.

Trees for Tomorrow is a nonprofit organization that planned a trip for the Green Bay Public School District. This trip helped students discover their interest through the study of life in nature.

Denyah Tinnion was one of the three East students who took part of this trip. Denyah says, “we learned about our ecosystems and how they work. We learned about how global warming would change our ecosystem.”

Julianna Williams, a sophmore at East High, says “when we would go on our hikes and stuff, we took very good care of the things. We were very careful with the trees.” Julianna says “It is definetely a really good way to step out of your comfort zone.”

Trees For Tomorrow helps students expand their knowledge on nature and their environment. This field trip will be offered next year for students who have passed a biology class.
